My journey began with a paw-sionate heart
My journey with pet sitting started 1 year into my veterinary career in the Dominican Republic. I began by offering help to foster stray cats and dogs rescued by the animal lover community on Facebook. My veterinary knowledge allowed me to administer medicine and care for each animal. Two years later, I officially opened my own pet hotel, focusing first on a cage-free cat hotel – the first of its kind in the country at that time. The earnings allowed me to continue working with my fosters, rescuing animals, and donating to other foundations. This experience ignited the passion that became Ylen Pet Care 7 years later. Special thanks to my mother for raising among animals, they were all my joy and best friends while growing up.

What makes Ylen Pet Care special? I'm autistic, and I believe my superpower is understanding animals in ways others can't. I connect with animals easily, understanding their traits and personality. I have also worked with reactive and aggressive dogs, patiently gaining their trust with time, understanding, and love. This ability allows me to provide a level of care that goes beyond the ordinary, ensuring your pet feels truly seen and understood.
